Arianna Alter is a photographer currently living in the Austin, Texas.

Her background in photography has provided opportunities to work with many organizations. During college, Arianna participated in the only organized coalition of photographers on campus, AU PhotoCollective. With PhotoCollective she served as a Photo Coordinator, providing photo editing and organization. During this time, she volunteered with the non-profit 100Cameras, teaching middle-school-aged students how to use photography for self-expression. She has served as a photographer for DC’s 9:30 Club, the DC Public School System, and Golden Voice SF. Additionally, she’s provided work for the ‘zine LUMXN, created a photo series with the organization ISYSM, and provided freelance portraiture work such as headshots and engagement shoots.

Arianna pursues photography projects in which she can use her camera as a tool for making sense of the world around her. She can often be seen taking photos in national parks and looking for opportunities to take her camera abroad.
